2026 Pole Creek Men’s League Information
Thank you for your interest in the 2026 Pole Creek Men’s League. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to another successful and enjoyable season. Below is an overview of league leadership, membership requirements, policies, and key updates for the upcoming year.
Major Updates for 2026
This season, we will transition to the Golf Genius Premium platform for scoring, communication, and payments. This upgrade will significantly enhance the league experience by providing:
Digital scoring and live leaderboards — eliminating paper scorecards and long waits for final results
Integrated event payments, including weekly fees and skins
Streamlined communication, with the ability to text all members directly through the app
While Pole Creek Golf Course and the Pole Creek Ladies League are contributing to the cost of the Premium platform, the Men’s League will cover the majority. As a result, the annual fee will increase to $225. This adjustment allows us to:
Add a third league-provided lunch
Offer additional trophies for major events and individual achievements
Continue including the year-end Men’s League Dinner at no extra cost
We recognize that adopting new technology may present a learning curve for some members. League leadership is committed to helping everyone transition smoothly so that all players can fully enjoy the benefits of the new system.

Play the ball as it lies unless USGA rules provide relief
No lift, clean, and place unless announced by the President or a designated representative
Cancellation Policy
We understand that emergencies occur. However, cancellations within 48 hours of Sunday play create significant scheduling challenges. The Board will review all last-minute cancellations.
Consequences:
First violation: Verbal warning
Second violation: One-week suspension
Third violation: Board review and potential suspension
Code of Conduct
Members are expected to treat one another with dignity and respect. Difficult conversations —such as rules clarifications or pace-of-play concerns— should be handled professionally. Our goal is to ensure that all members enjoy weekly competition in a positive environment.
Pace of Play
Pole Creek Golf Course maintains a target pace of 4 hours and 20 minutes. The mixed-tee pairing format has been reinstated to support this standard.
Expectations include:
Maintaining pace with the group ahead
Avoiding unnecessary gaps
Adjusting pace when needed
The maximum score for regular Sunday play is double par.
A two-stroke penalty will be assessed to any group responsible for slow play. Repeated violations will be reviewed by the Board. We recognize that guest play on the back nine may affect pace and will take this into consideration.
The digital scoring app timestamps each submitted scorecard, providing transparency and accountability.
Payment System
The league will operate on a fully cashless system this year. All payments—including weekly fees and skins—will be processed through the Golf Genius Premium app. Instructions for downloading and using the app will be provided in a future communication. Calcutta is exempt from this system.
