President Brian Dingmann called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. A quorum was declared. The agenda was reviewed and approved as submitted.
Secretary’s Report: The minutes from the September meeting were reviewed and approved as written.
Treasurer’s Report: There was some discussion on what was the correct amount to use for the Tournament of Champions payouts and what was budgeted for. During the winter meetings, the board needs to go over what events it will budget for (Club championship, TOC, Guest Day) and set the amounts in the budget and not deviate. There was slight confusion this year because we initially based our budget and a lower club membership number than what we ended up with.
Old Business:
o League Updates. All regular season leagues have paid or are in the process of paying the winners. Cash money is in the Pro Shop for those winners.
o Year Long Event update. Only two matches remain to be completed. All other results have been posted and money is in the Pro shop for those winners.
New Business:
o Club Championship Review. We discussed problems and issue with club championship and a report will be filed.
o Tournament of Champions Review. The board discussed problems and issues with the TOC and a report will be filed.
o Fall Scramble Review. Discussed and report to be filed.
o Fall Banquet.
* End of Year Prints – due to some budget constraints, the board decided to go with the limited number of prints this year as dictated in the handbook.
* Election of new Board officers. We will need a Vice-President this year and a replacement for next year to work with the outgoing Year Long Events chairman. All other board members have offered to return to perform their same duties if the new President so wishes.
The next board meeting will be on Wednesday, November 4th. The meeting location is still yet to be determined but tentatively scheduled for Nick’s Grill (formerly Jax).
