| Executive Board Present: Brian Dingmann, Mel Doherty, Mark Staller, Curt Renslow
Board Members Present: Jim Anderson, Dan Brannan, Barry Ashmore, Bill Timmer Members Present: Warren Johnson, Gary Obele President Brian Dingmann called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. A quorum was declared. The agenda was approved with one addition: adding a local men’s club rule for relief from ant hills. Secretary’s Report: The minutes from the May meeting were reviewed and approved as written. Treasurer’s Report: The budget was line item reviewed and more money was budgeted for select lines based on the higher than projected membership numbers. There was also a discussion on changing the end of year awards to something other than a print. Possibly a custom embroidered shirt? We will need to take a poll and see what the members prefer: a print, windshirt, polo shirt, plaque, etc. Old Business: • League Updates. League chairs are working on getting results posted and getting some members to pay their league fees yet. • Year Long event is going along well. • State High school tournament. We have members who expressed an interest in volunteering, thanks! New Business: • Youth Program. No update, nothing is being done. • High Ball Low Ball Review. An after action review sheet was submitted to the board by the tournament directors and it was reviewed. The event went well with a good turnout. • Local Men’s Club Rule for relief from ant hills. Mel Doherty proposed we adopt a local men’s club rule, applicable only during men’s club leagues and events (not during your practice play or non-men’s club activities), that you can take up to one club relief from lie and/or swing from ant hills thru the green. The board approved the motion unanimously. Guest Day: The guest day organizers have done a terrific job of getting sponsors together and organizing the event. Now we need to start encouraging our members to get signed up and bring multiple guests. The meeting adjourned at 7:05 PM. |
