Pebble Creek Men's Club Newsletter February 2009

(Feb 24th) Hi guys - we have had some nice warmer weather, had a lot of the snow melt, and then we had to get a reminder that winter is not done with us yet.  So I am not going to get my hopes up yet for an early spring, I have a feeling we are in for more snow and cold in the next few weeks.  I don't have a lot of new information to put out except that I have heard that Peake's Restaurant at the golf course has closed.  I don't know anything "official" so I don't want to spread any rumors other than that I know they have closed.  Hopefully, the City of Becker gets moving and makes a deal with someone shortly so they can be open by golf season. Which brings us to the next topic - the Open House on Saturday, April 4th. Right now we are still planning on having that at the golf course in the bar area upstairs from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  If we have to change the date or location, I will let everyone know.  But for now, plan on coming out to Pebble Creek golf course on April 4th.  We are hoping for some nicer weather between now and then, at least nice enough so that the range can open for that day.  So stop out and visit us and get your dues paid, sign up for leagues and match play tournaments, and just get re-acquainted with your golfing buddies. The next board meeting will be on Wednesday, March 4th at 6:00 pm at The Vault (formerly known as Fat Jax) in Becker.  Stop by and listen in or come and give us your feedback, we are always happy to have members join in on the discussions.
