| MEN'S CLUB TEES In 2009, the Pebble Creek Men's Club will utilize only one set of tees for all league, event, and match play activities. All play will be conducted from the BACK tees ONLY! NO-SHOW POLICY A no-show is defined as any member who signs up for an event and fails to show up for the scheduled event or properly notify the Pro Shop before the deadline. The deadline for canceling out of an event is by noon on the day prior to the event. If a member is declared a no-show, the following actions will take place: a. The Weekend Events Chairman will contact the member in question and inform them that they were declared a no-show and will be fined $10. b. The member in question will be informed that should they no-show for another event, they would be suspended from all further events (to include the Club Championship) for the remainder of the year! The sign up deadline for events will be by 8:00 PM on the Wednesday prior to the event. Anyone calling in after the deadline will have their name put on a waiting list and entered only if openings are available. Late sign up will not guarantee you entry into an event. The sign up deadline will be strictly enforced! LEAGUE RAINOUT POLICY There will be NO rainouts declared for any league play this year! Participants should try and play their rounds as long as it is safe to do so. All leagues have a built in throw-out week in case of inclement weather. CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP ELIBILTY You must participate in a minimum of FIVE Men's Club activities to be eligible to play in the Men's Club Championship. Activities include play in any: - Wednesday league round or Wednesday shop game - Weekend events - Year-Long events (match play tournaments) - Men's Club Guest Day - MPGA Team Match Play GPS/RANGE FINDER USE The Pebble Creek Men's Club has adopted a local rule, in accordance with USGA guidelines, to allow the use of GPS/Range finders during all Men's Club activities. The distance only feature may be used. You still are not allowed to use the slope feature if your device has such a function. In addition, if you do not have a range finder and your playing partner does, is is permissable under USGA rules to ask the range finder owner for measurements of your shots, too. Keep in mind, however, that your playing partner does not have to oblige. EARLY PLAY ON THE EVENT COURSE Early play on the course prior to weekend events is allowed except for the Club Championship and the Tournament of Champions. |
